The long awaited day is finally here, today is my last working day at Kallang. Sooo happy that I wanted to do"the dance" on my way to office. I am going to start working at Novena next week, really looking forward to it. My future boss lets me take a week rest before I start my new job, he said he wants me to be fresh.
Yesterday I did my pre-employment check-up because I woke up late and it was raining and I could not get any cab. So I took a half day morning leave, and decided to go for the check-up so that my leave is not wasted. But will have to come back next week for the urine test. Hope everything goes well.
Last night I met up some colleagues from the current company, we had a decent meal at Shokudo Raffles City and talked for about 3+ hours. Some of them are old staffs that get so-called unfair treatment, and from the way they talked, I felt that there is more than just meet the eyes. But knowing a lot of the inside stories doesn't actually mean anything, it won't change the fact that they get the "treatment". Anyway, I am just so glad that it will all be over today, and by tomorrow it will be just a small piece of history in my life. And I am thankful for whatever or whoever is protecting me that I didn't get the same "treatment", because my action was faster by 1 day.
